The pathway

You're not just joining a trip. You're entering a pathway to lead.

Leadership here isn't handed out. It's earned through alignment, contribution and action — inside retreats that are already running, with coaching before and after each one.

The core idea

Japan is your entry point. Everything after that, you earn.

You start as a participant on a retreat that already works — living it fully while studying it from the inside: how it was priced, filled, scheduled, staffed and held together.

From there you step into leading one in Costa Rica, then into co-creating one in Asheville with a written profit share. By the end of the year you're not holding a certificate. You're holding a retreat concept, real stage experience, marketing assets and a room full of people who have seen you lead.

Most people stall because they don't know where to start, feel alone in it, or can't get enough people to hold the retreat without cancelling. This pathway removes all three.

How the pathway works

Six moves across twelve months

  1. 01

Apply and claim one of four Founding Leader spots

A short application and a call. Four people, chosen for fit — not first come, first served.

  2. 02

    Month 0 · Preparation

About three months before Japan: community access, coaching calls, brainstorming and pre-retreat guidance so you arrive already connected and already working on your own retreat concept.

  3. 03

    Japan · April 5–13, 2027 · Participant

You pay for your seat and live the retreat fully, with behind-the-scenes access to how it was built. Stage talk #1.

  4. 04

    Costa Rica · November 1–9, 2027 · Leader

You return as one of four leaders with your own session and real responsibility. Your seat is earned down by the guests you bring. Stage talk #2.

  5. 05

    Asheville · April 3–11, 2028 · Co-creator

The cohort co-creates and co-hosts a real retreat together, with a profit share agreed in writing before the build. Stage talk #3.

  6. 06

After the year · Your own retreat

Your named retreat, run your way — independently, or with our support up to a full retreat partnership.

The pathway visual

Each stage asks more of you and gives more back

What you walk away with

Your own offer, network promotion if you want it, and a community that becomes your first participant pool.

Earn your seat

The guest ladder — Costa Rica

Every guest you bring to Costa Rica reduces what you pay for your own seat. Three paying guests covers it entirely.

0 guests

Leader

You lead, and you pay for your seat like any other participant.

1 guest

Leader

Roughly two thirds of your seat remains — one guest covers about a third.

2 guests

Leader

Roughly one third of your seat remains.

3 guests

Leader · seat covered

Your Costa Rica seat is fully covered. You attend and lead at no cost for the retreat itself.

4+ guests

Leader · beyond covered

Your seat stays covered, and a $1,000 leader bonus is paid to you for each additional confirmed guest beyond the first three.

Your role never changes based on how many guests you bring — only your cost does.

You keep your leader title, your session and your stage talk either way. Exact figures are confirmed in writing once Costa Rica pricing is set, and filling those seats is something we coach you through in the months beforehand — you are not left to figure out enrollment on your own.

Asheville

The stage designed to pay you back

Asheville is co-created, which means you help make the real decisions: pricing, cost structure, marketing and enrollment. Because you carry part of the build, you share in the profit of the retreat.

The split is agreed in writing before the build starts, once we know who is carrying what. A strong result may offset part, all, or in some cases more than what you put into the year.

Results depend on the actual economics and performance of that retreat, so no return is guaranteed. What is guaranteed is the experience, the assets and the credibility you keep either way.

After the year

Two ways to run your own retreat

You own your retreat either way. The only question is how much of us comes with it.

Option 1

Go Independent

100% yours

Run your own retreat under your own brand. No fees, no split, no obligation to us. The network stays yours as peers.

Option 2

Partner With Us

50 / 50

We build and run it with you — concept, pricing, operations, marketing and enrollment — with the network's brand and audience behind it. Revenue splits down the middle.

Partnering is by mutual agreement, and standards apply — brand, safety, quality and pricing guidelines, plus a written agreement before anything is announced. Going independent always stays open: nobody is locked in.

Recognition

Contribution gets noticed

Every Founding Leader gets a speaking slot, a workshop and real build responsibility. The leaders who fill their seats first and contribute most get elevated:

  • Premium visibility during the retreats
  • Priority positioning in the podcast, newsletter and social features
  • Expanded speaking and facilitation opportunities
  • First consideration for future signature retreats

Important policies

The fine print, in plain language

Deposits and payments

Retreat deposits and payments are non-refundable, but they apply toward the retreat they were made for.

Transfer option

If something changes, you may be able to transfer your credit to a future retreat within a defined window. Talk to us early and we'll do what we can.

Payment plans

Payment plans are handled case by case. Bring it up on our call and we'll work out a schedule that fits.

Remaining balance

If you don't reach three guests for Costa Rica, the remaining balance for your seat stays your responsibility, reduced in proportion to the guests you did bring.

Final terms

Everything here describes how the pathway is designed to work. The binding numbers, dates and splits live in your written agreement.

Final thought

Lead, create, and expand what's possible

You're not just joining a trip. You're stepping into a pathway to learn the model, grow your visibility, build aligned relationships, and lead or co-create transformational retreats of your own.
